The Platform
Poetry Open Mic Night
The Platform is a monthly poetry open mic night currently held at Poole Hill Brewery on the 1st Thursday of the month. It's free to attend and is open to anyone, regardless of where you are on your poetry journey. The Platform is a great place to start if you've never performed on stage before. Many local poets have debuted here.
Donate to The Platform
The Platform is a not-for-profit entity. Abby runs this in her own time. There is no charge for entry. A raffle is held every month, £1 a ticket to win a mystery poetry book. All monies raised go towards paying a guest poet to entertain and inspire us. If you'd like to donate your time, poetry books or money to keep the Platform going, it would be very much appreciated. Fill in the form below. Also if you would like to be put on The Platform mailing list for upcoming events, please let us know.
